Neugart's PSNpro, PSFNpro, and PSBNpro are a series of high-precision helical gearboxes designed for dynamic applications with frequent load and direction changes. The series sits above Neugart's existing precision gearbox lineup and is built around new gear technologies and materials.

Optimized tooth flank quality reduces point load peaks, allowing higher torques to be transmitted at the same service life. Cycle torque has increased significantly compared to the prior generation, enabling the series to match or exceed the torque output of spur gearboxes.

Helical teeth minimize transmission fluctuations between the input and output throughout the output shaft's rotation, improving process quality. In woodworking applications, this reduces chatter marks. The gearboxes also operate at low noise levels under high loads, contributing to improved acoustic properties and more stable overall machine performance.

Mass inertia has been reduced, particularly in small frame sizes. Starting at frame size 064, the input stage is smaller than the output stage—a result of consistent modular design. This configuration reduces rotating mass to support faster acceleration and braking and improves control quality in highly dynamic axes.

Available gear ratios, sizes, and options carry over from the existing precision series with no reductions. A factory-mounted pinion on the output shaft for pinion-rack drives is included as standard.
