CP741 Precision Flex Locators Deliver 674 lb Clamping Force
CP741 Precision Flex Locators are one-touch, ball-lock locating elements designed for quick-change fixture applications. They provide locating and clamping in a single operation without the use of tools.
The quarter-turn locator pin mounts to the fixture, while the AMWF-BU receptacle mounts to the base. The system clamps and unclamps with a simple quarter turn of the knob.
The CP741 provides positioning accuracy of 0.00012 in (0.003 mm) and delivers 674 lb of clamping force. It is intended for changing various attachments and components on both small and large fixtures, supporting precise repeatability when moving to a new machine or operation.
The CP741 is available in straight and tapered versions. The tapered type is used for locating and a 90-degree rotational reference. The straight type is used for additional clamping points.
The CP741 models join four other locator variations: CP723 (knob style), CP722 (adjustable handle style), CP731 (cam handle style), and CP730 (hex-head style). The two-handle versions are available in either tapered or straight configurations.
In combination with receptacles and receivers, these locators mount on fixture bases and plates for accurate locating and positioning in quick-change setups.
