RIDGID's FlexShaft KM-1004 Milling Machine is a high-speed, heavy-duty milling machine for dual drain cleaning and milling applications up to 80 ft (24.4 m). It delivers wall-to-wall drain cleaning and extended runtime for pipe rehabilitation and restoration work in residential and commercial settings.
The unit handles 1.25 to 4 in (32 to 102 mm) pipes and supports 1/4 and 5/16 in FlexShaft cables. It removes scale, corrosion, grease, roots, and other obstructions during pipe preparation and reinstatement. A digital cable counter with variable speed control enables users to monitor distance and adjust speed based on pipe conditions. A built-in temperature sensor helps prevent sheath damage during prolonged operation.
The machine operates on 18V DC battery power or plug-in power, allowing continuous use during drain cleaning and milling jobs. A brushless motor with I-Clutch technology monitors torque based on cable size to reduce wear and extend tool life. Field-serviceable components support on-site maintenance to maximize uptime.
Additional features include foot pedal operation for two-handed control, an under 70 lb design with wheels and a telescoping handle for transport, and compatibility with the RIDGID Link app for tool locking, shareable job reporting insights, maintenance reminders, and tool history.
