Phoenix Contact's PTCB thermal-magnetic circuit breakers are pluggable circuit breakers designed for industrial applications with high inrush currents. Measuring 0.31 in (8 mm) wide, the devices combine protection and signaling in a single module, reducing control cabinet space by up to 65% compared to other thermal-magnetic circuit breakers.

The circuit breakers are available with nominal currents from 0.5 to 16 A and offer characteristic trip curves F2 and M1. The range supports applications from sensitive electronic components to higher power loads such as motors and transformers.

The PTCB TM includes alignable current monitoring with an adjustable signaling threshold to provide local and remote visualization of load status. Digital outputs enable integration with a PLC for remote status indication. A tilting lever indicates switching status, including when power is off, helping reduce training requirements and operating errors.

The series can be bridged to the CLIPLINE complete terminal block range for integration into existing applications.
