Wavecrest Power Quality Protection System Guards Electronics From Power Disturbances
Mechanical Ingenuity's Wavecrest power quality protection system protects sensitive electrical equipment from unplanned power disturbances, including surges, sags, swells, transients, overvoltage, undervoltage, and EMI noise. The system cleans "dirty" power on a dedicated circuit and is designed for easy installation. Wavecrest operates on 30 A circuits and supports 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, and 480V Y, as well as 240V 3-phase circuits, all within a compact design.
Wavecrest safeguards LED lighting, heat pumps, hot water circulators, point-of-sale systems, computers, phone systems, gas pump controls, and other electrical equipment, using a patent-pending multistage array of MOVs, capacitors, chokes, and transformers to protect against surge (letting through only 10% of voltage), RFI, transients, notching, noise, flicker, and other disturbances. The system also provides overvoltage protection by opening the circuit to prevent damage to connected equipment and the device itself. A diagnostics display shows the status of power and protected equipment.
Designed for per-circuit installation, Wavecrest allows pinpointed protection for individual locations or multiple areas without overhauling an entire building's power system.
