RF GFS 2 XL Wireless Foot Switch Offers Extra-Large Protective Shield

Steute's Controltec RF GFS 2 XL is a wireless foot switch for heavy-duty industrial environments such as welding stations. Its wireless design eliminates cable damage from weld spatter and reduces tripping hazards during operation. The foot switch integrates an extra-large, powder-coated steel protective shield that accommodates reinforced safety shoes while allowing free pedal movement. The shield also prevents accidental pedal activation and includes a carrying handle for flexible positioning.

An integrated wireless transmitter is housed within the shield, protecting it from mechanical impact while maintaining reliable signal transmission to its receiver unit. The sWave 2.4LE-IND wireless technology enables indoor ranges of up to 150 ft (45 m).

Originally developed for a manufacturer of welded structures, the switch has since been added to the standard product range of wireless switching devices.
