Cabinet Mount Eyewash Units Add Daylight Drains for Easier Testing
Bradley's new daylight drain option for its cabinet mount eyewash, eye/face wash, and combination units directs wastewater out the front face of the unit instead of into a building's drainage system. This design allows each unit to be used and tested without being connected to wastewater plumbing.
These barrier-free models are fully accessible to individuals with physical disabilities, while the integrated Halo eye/face wash provides broad washdown coverage and an effective spray pattern. The daylight drain feature also helps prevent contamination of sanitary sewer systems and supports safe water management by eliminating the need for permanent plumbing connections—ideal for facilities where such connections are not feasible or permitted.
Cabinet-concealed eyewash units and recessed drench shower/eyewash combinations are available for installations where space is limited. Vandal-resistant ceramic valves reduce wear on moving parts, ensuring reliability and long service life. The barrier-free cabinet mount design exceeds ANSI Z358.1 specifications. The Halo eyewash design includes an integral strainer to reduce debris and prevent clogging, along with a self-draining sprayhead that eliminates stagnant water.
