The UR8 Long long-reach collaborative robot offers a reach of 69 in (1,750 mm) and an 18 lb (8 kg) payload, combining reach, stability, and precision in a compact, lightweight form. The slimmer profile makes the robot suited for installations with little floor space, while its compact wrist design enables mounting on gantries, rails, or overhead systems.

The robot is compatible with PolyScope 5 and PolyScope X software platforms and can be extended with MotionPlus, an advanced motion control technology that enables precise coordination with linear axes, rotary positioners, and rotary turntables. Users can also take advantage of upgraded freedrive capabilities, allowing the arm to be manually guided for lead-to-teach programming without layered interfaces or external tools.

Weighing 30% less than the UR20, the UR8 Long delivers smoother movements at maximum speed, up to 30% faster cycle times, and consistent accuracy for high-throughput applications.
