BLUEMARK E.CARD UV Inkjet Printer Delivers 600-dpi Industrial Marking
Phoenix Contact's BLUEMARK E.CARD UV inkjet printer handles high-volume labeling in industrial environments. It automatically detects whether inserted cards are plastic or metal and adjusts the ink composition for each material, producing 600-dpi resolution results. The combination of thermal inkjet technology and UV LED-curing inks creates wipe-proof, scratch-proof, and chemical-resistant markings.
The printer processes up to 40 marker cards in a single load, which are automatically fed into the system and stacked for removal. Additional cards can be added during operation without interrupting print jobs. Each card takes less than 53 seconds to print. The modular ink concept creates sharp typefaces and high print quality, while replacing an ink cartridge also replaces the printhead, lowering maintenance requirements.
The MARKING software creates easy project setup and job organization. The system detects unsorted or misordered cards and prints them in the correct sequence. Bidirectional communication is supported via an OPC UA interface, while the printer display provides device and job status information. Ink cartridges can be stored in a built-in compartment, extending shelf life and reducing energy consumption during idle periods.
