Faulhaber's GXR and SXR DC motors extend the 14 mm drive portfolio with both a new motor family and new sizes in an existing line. The GXR series 1437 motors feature copper-graphite commutation, marking the launch of a new high-performance series. The SXR line expands with precious-metal-commutated motors in the 1424 and 1437 sizes.

With a 14 mm diameter, all models integrate with planetary gearheads and magnetic encoders to form complete drive solutions that combine compact design, efficiency, and performance. A hexagonally wound coil increases power density within a limited space, while options include multiple bearing configurations, flexible voltage variants, electrical connection choices, shaft modifications, and optimized rotor balancing.

The models are RoHS compliant and designed for applications such as optical systems, microscopes, telescopes, surgical robots, and infusion pumps.
