Stablelock Pull Clamps Enable Quick and Secure Machining
Fixtureworks' Stablelock Pull Clamps (QLPD) offer quick and secure fastening in repetitive machining operations. Each unit consists of a clamp base used with clamping screws and mounts under a workpiece, allowing the machined surface to remain accessible to the cutting tool. Turning the handle pulls the pin downward and secures it in position.
The clamping force remains constant, and the handle provides a click feel at the end point to prevent overtightening.
The clamps are offered with a center-to-top hole length of 4 in (100 mm) and a center-to-body length of 2 in (43.5 mm). Maximum clamping force reaches 675 lb (306 kg).
The QLPDW-M screws are designed for use with QLPDW Stablelock Pull Clamps. A standard screw and a locating screw are available, both constructed from quenched and tempered electroless nickel-plated 4135 steel. An optional extension unit, the QLPDW-RC, can be used to operate pull clamps from a distance by attaching an extension bar and hex socket. The hex head can be turned manually or with an impact wrench.
The clamps feature a rigid clamping mechanism with a ball and tapered wedge design supported by spring force, for consistent and strong operation regardless of application. Indicator lines on the handle and body clearly show locked or unlocked positions.
The series is available in multiple clamping modes, including swing, push, side, and thrust, for different workholding needs. These options provide a wide range of arm travel and arm lengths, making them suitable for repetitive clamping tasks across various applications.
