PUDU MT1 Max Robotic Sweeper Adds 3D Perception for Large Environments
The PUDU MT1 Max is an AI-powered robotic sweeper for large-scale and complex cleaning environments. As the third model in the MT1 series, the MT1 Max incorporates 3D LiDAR with multisensor fusion to deliver centimeter-level accuracy and object detection up to 492 ft (150 m). It maintains reliable mapping and positioning in high-interference conditions such as heavy dust, fog, or sandstorms, while enabling dynamic route planning and proactive obstacle avoidance.
The sweeper is driven by a dual-chip architecture that doubles computing power for faster recognition and efficient multitasking. Hardware and software integration across sensors, wheel-hub motors, side brushes, and roller brushes supports adaptive cleaning modes, AI-based trash recognition, and AI spot cleaning for waste detection and removal.
The MT1 Max offers a 27.5 in (70 cm) cleaning width and a 9.2 gal (35 L) waste bin, with precise edge-to-edge coverage. An internal vibration system keeps filters clear in real time to preserve suction and filtration efficiency, extend component life, and reduce manual maintenance.
Safety features include enhanced 3D LiDAR-powered obstacle avoidance, IP54-rated protection against dust and splashes, and a water-drop sensor that triggers protective avoidance in adverse weather. A 3.9 ft (1.2 m) beacon with bright lighting increases visibility for pedestrians and drivers. The sweeper also supports IoT integration, remote management tools, and automatic recharging for continuous 24/7 operation.
