Adjustable Bolted Bracing Allows No-Weld Installation
Adjustable bolted bracing is a no-weld bracing system designed for edge-of-mezzanine applications in indoor and outdoor environments where welding is not permitted. The system eliminates the need for site welding and cutting, enabling safer and more efficient installation in facilities where hot work is prohibited.
Bracing arms are cut to length according to each project's specifications, ensuring a precise fit and easy assembly. Minimal on-site modifications may be needed, which helps streamline project timelines and reduce labor costs. The design allows easier on-site adjustments and fine-tuning compared to cutting and welding.
The system features both horizontal and vertical adjustability, with 2 in (5 cm) of adjustment on the horizontal and vertical bracing struts. Horizontal adjustment is available at the mezzanine or wall bracing strut, while both vertical and horizontal adjustment are available at the column bracing struts.
Seismic-rated and PE-certified, the bracing maintains the strength and stability of welded designs while offering the convenience of a bolt-together system.
