H28MC and H28LC Vertical Pumps Offer High Flow and Customization
The H28MC and H28LC are 28-in vertical turbine pumps designed for industrial, municipal, and petroleum applications. Developed to fill the performance gap between existing H24 and H30 models, the pumps are engineered for high efficiency and customizable performance.
Each model delivers a flow rate of up to 10,500 gal/min, powered by a 500 hp motor. Using advanced CFD flow simulation and FEA analysis, the pumps achieve a balance of hydraulic efficiency and structural durability.
The H28MC operates at a best efficiency point of 1,180 rpm, producing 14,750 GPM at 143 ft per stage with 87% efficiency. The H28LC generates 13,250 GPM at 131 ft per stage, also at 87% efficiency. Both models support specific speeds from 3,600 to 3,800, with a maximum power rating of 2,000 hp and a maximum head of 1,500 ft.
Pump bowls and impellers are available in stock, and the models can be built to meet individual project requirements. Standard materials of construction are available, and the pumps can be configured with up to seven stages.
