261 Series Inline Parallel Shaft Gearmotors Withstand Extreme Washdowns

Aug. 5, 2025
Bison’s 261 Series Inline Parallel Shaft Gearmotors feature a two-part shaft seal and EPDM O-rings for leak-proof performance.

The 261 Series Sanimotor Inline Parallel Shaft Washdown Gearmotors are inline parallel shaft gearmotors designed for washdown environments requiring cleanability and continuous duty performance. Built for high-load and harsh operating conditions, the gearmotors are rated IP69K and encased in a sealed 304 stainless steel enclosure to endure high-pressure, high-temperature cleaning processes.

A two-part, spring-loaded shaft seal combined with EPDM O-rings ensures a secure, leak-proof barrier. The gearmotors feature sealed ball bearings and are lubricated for life with food-grade H1 grease, eliminating the need for maintenance. A laser-etched permanent nameplate withstands repeated washdowns without fading or degradation.

Available in 1/7 or 1/8 hp AC inverter duty motor options, the gearmotors deliver speeds from 8 to 350 rpm and output torque ranging from 16 to 500 in-lb.
