PROTECT Series Signaling Devices Offer Impact Resistance and High Output
The PROTECT Series of signaling devices for industrial and outdoor use is available as sounders or combined sounder-light units. The products feature a die-cast aluminum housing engineered to withstand impacts and harsh environmental conditions.
The series supports up to 80 selectable tones with four additional externally selectable tones. A pre- and main alarm function helps prevent shock reactions by gradually increasing the sound level. Dip switch settings allow fine-tuning across seven volume steps, ranging from 86 to 116 dB(A).
Devices in the series are compatible with multiple voltages and feature simplified installation to reduce downtime and minimize spare part requirements. Six lens colors are available, with options for Xenon or LED visual alerts.
The PRO 10 model offers certifications for marine applications (MED/MER), functional safety (SIL 2/PL d), and hazardous environments (ATEX Zone 2/22 and UL Class 1 Division 2). It reaches up to 116 dB(A) and has an IK09 impact rating.
The PRO X 10-05 combines audible signaling with a 5 J Xenon flash (56 cd), providing visual coverage up to 568 ft (173 m). It features IP66/IP67 and NEMA 4/4X ratings and offers the same 116 dB(A) maximum sound pressure level.
