FM400 Horizontal Flow Wrapper Combines MAP and Fast Sanitation
The FM400 is a horizontal flow wrap packaging machine for high-speed Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) in fresh food applications. Featuring an advanced Long-Dwell sealing head with orbital movement, it creates airtight, hermetic seals while running up to 150 packs/min.
A stainless-steel frame with vertical plate construction supports washdown with hot water and chemicals, and all external electronics are rated IP66 or higher for dust and water resistance. The modular frame accommodates top reel, bottom reel, and side seal configurations and supports various barrier films, including laminates and shrink films.
The FM400's color touchscreen is powered by an industrial PC and offers customizable interface navigation. Optional digital tools provide consumption analytics and real-time integration with MES, ERP, and SCADA systems. Other features include remote service access, OEE monitoring, an optional oxygen analysis system, automatic feeding systems, and Easy-Tape automatic reel changes.
