COLDSTOP SMART Dome-Loaded Pressure Regulator Protects Piping
The COLDSTOP SMART is a dome-loaded pressure regulator that detects critically low temperatures and stops gas flow to safeguard piping and downstream equipment from brittle fractures. Designed for cryogenic systems, it combines a dome-loaded pressure regulator, solenoid valves, and a control unit to stop gas flow immediately if temperatures fall below a defined setpoint and restart flow when temperatures return to the configured range.
This prevents excessively low temperatures in gas pipework downstream of the vaporizer, helping meet EIGA, CGA, and AIGA standards for cryogenic vaporization systems. The system also provides outlet pressure control accuracy and automatic flow stoppage at critical temperature thresholds.
It transmits real-time status data including flow, pressure, and temperature via 4-20 mA signals and RS-485 communication for remote monitoring and custom configuration. Users can trigger alarms and initiate actions such as activating additional vaporizer capacity. COLDSTOP SMART is CE-marked.
