The Quick-Loc QL2 combination pallet is a modular quick-change fixturing solution designed to support both 52 and 96 mm (2 and 3.7 in) hole patterns in a single unit for broader application compatibility across machining platforms, offering users a single solution for fast and repeatable fixture changes.
Part of the Quick-Loc system, the QL2 uses a 4-pull stud interface to locate and clamp top tooling to a base receiver in one step. When the pull studs are inserted and the clamping screw is tightened, the top tooling is securely attached. The system is engineered for horizontal, vertical, and rotary operations and ensures repeatability of 0.0003 in and clamping forces of nearly 14,000 lb (6,350 kg).
Constructed from case-hardened steel for high rigidity, the QL2 works with square, rectangular, and round receivers. It's also designed to work with Jergens' 130 mm (5 in) self-centering vise to improve machining access and reduce changeover times.
