Wireless 1410S Gateways and 781S Antenna Expand WirelessHART Range
Wireless 1410S Gateways and 781S Smart Antenna are enhancements to WirelessHART networking infrastructure. Firmware updates to the Wireless 1410S Gateways allow support for up to 500 devices/network when using a 781S Smart Antenna, increasing to 1,000 devices with Dual WirelessHART technology. The 781S Smart Antenna features a new integrated terminal block and remote antenna adapter options for flexible cable customization and improved antenna performance.
The remote antenna adapter enables high-gain remote antenna compatibility, helping to minimize network hops and reduce the number of repeaters needed. By expanding both device capacity and wireless range, the system allows large sites to be monitored and managed with fewer gateways, resulting in streamlined WirelessHART deployments. These upgrades also offer a simple backup and restore process for upgrading legacy systems to the latest WirelessHART technology.
