FactoryTalk Energy Manager is a new energy monitoring application within the FactoryTalk software portfolio from Rockwell Automation.
FactoryTalk Energy Manager provides energy and production information based on a model of the underlying process at a plant, process area, line, and machine. The software also provides dashboards that highlight areas for improvement and optimization. With that information, manufacturers can understand where, when, and how their facilities use energy to establish the necessary scope of their energy savings efforts and define key metrics. This helps customers meet sustainability goals, increase efficiency, and identify opportunities for energy reduction.
The software is easy for employees across different departments to use (IT and OT), which enables faster return on investment.
