CANTON, Ohio –The M. K. Morse Company introduced its new series of titanium-nitride coated step drills. The super hard titanium-nitride surface treatment reduces friction and increases drill life, up to six times over uncoated step drills. All step drills have three flats ground on the shank, preventing the drill from slipping in the drill chuck. The balanced double flute provides two cutting edges for faster and easier cutting in virtually any soft or hard material. TiN coated step drills are available with 1/4” and 3/8” shanks. In addition to the new coated step drill, The M. K. Morse Company offers a wide line of high speed steel double fluted step drills. Morse step drills allow users to drill multiple size holes using the same bit resulting in less change over time. Designed to cut clean and precise holes without denting or deflecting thin metal, the step drills are available individually or in kits. These step drills are an ideal tool for electrical contractors, sheet metal workers and auto mechanics drilling repetitive holes in steel, copper, brass, plastic, plexiglas and other thin materials. • Description: Step Drill 1/8" to 1/2" by 32nds, 12 steps • Shank Size: 1/4" (6.4mm) __Point: Self Starting • Model #: ESD01 • Part #: 124003
