Vacuum Tube Lifter For Heavy Loads With Small Grip Surface

July 21, 2006
A new vacuum tube lifter that employs two vacuum pumps: one to provide an improved grip with 24”Hg continuous holding power and another for up and down operation is being introduced by Anver Corp. of Hudson, Massachusetts. The Anver Dual-Pump Tube Lifter features an electric vacuum pump for the lifting operation and a dedicated compressed air powered pump that provides 24” Hg continuous vacuum for holding the load. Developed for heavy loads without much surface area available for gripping, it can be equipped with custom vacuum pad attachments to handle a wide variety of different loads. Featuring with an internal check valve to maintain holding power in case of a vacuum loss, the Anver Dual-Pump Tube Lifter employs a 100% duty cycle and swivels 360º under vacuum. Suitable for loads up to 350 lbs., standard features include adjustable up/down controls on the handle, vacuum leakage sensor/warning system with two vacuum gauges, and a wire-reinforced tube. The Anver Dual-Pump Tube Lifter is priced from $ 4,995.00 (list), depending upon the vacuum pad attachment. Literature is available upon request.
