Racine's RNG series meter with integral mount electronics has an optional ATEX certification, which provides the ideal solution for monitoring corrosive, combustible and toxic gases in areas subject to explosive atmospheres. This insertion style gas vortex flow meter is designed to offer high accuracy measurements over an extremely large flow range. Ideal for flare, stack, natural and digester gas, and air applications, the RNG meter is not sensitive to gas composition changes. The meter achieves high accuracy in wet gas applications and has a 70:1 turndown ratio. Racine's RNG insertion style meters have no moving parts and are virtually maintenance free. The RNG meters are loop-powered devices with standard HART® communications protocol for ease of field programming and system integration. With this system, the enhanced communications and diagnostics reduce maintenance and downtime. The user will receive an early warning of device problems and is able to automatically track and detect changes.
