OEM Data Delivery (“OEM DD”) a provider of information tools for jobsite management, has introduced the ST-550 Service Tracker, a technology that helps managers identify and reduce engine idle time, and make jobsites immediately more profitable. Eliminating wasted fuel is a major benefit, but reducing engine idle time also lengthens the service life of transmissions and engines, reduces carbon build-up, and extends the life of oil and oil filters. The ST-550 can contribute substantially to the success of company-wide environmental initiatives.OEM DD’s ST-550 Service Tracker transmits wireless, paperless and “hands-free” data, such as equipment’s hour meter, idle logs, work logs, and service alerts for preventive maintenance. Data is captured passively via “drive-by” activity. It can be installed on any machine, old or new and has a low power radio frequency that transmits data 100+ yards. The ST-550 also easily works with OEM DD’s fuel capture technology. The ST-550 is a part of a powerful data delivery system that provides operations and equipment management with reports via the web or email. Some reports include equipment utilization, gallons per hour utilization, PM services due, fuel gallons dispensed, what service tasks take the longest, what equipment breaks down most often, and other useful metrics. Its reporting feature updates management information nightly, and automatically generates summary and alert email for timely decisions.Information captured by the ST-550 is easily integrated into back office systems. Systems are engineered to user requirements and can be implemented quickly; training typically requires just a few hours. The ST-550 is based on rugged, field-proven jobsite technology developed by OEM DD and used by major construction firms, waste management companies and others who operate multiple, complex jobsites.
