Cost-Effective Compact Modules Broaden Rexroth’s Linear Systems Line

June 26, 2008
Bosch Rexroth has developed the new eLINE Compact Modules, broadening its extensive range of pre-assembled linear systems. These long-term maintenance-free modules are well suited for small handling, medical, and packaging operations with loads up to 60kg. eLINE Compact Modules offer Rexroth quality and performance at a lower cost for applications with less rigorous load and speed requirements such as pick and place, dispensing, assembly, packaging and material handling tasks. Total cost of ownership for the modules is reduced, thanks to features like easy programming and start-up with an integrated stepper motor with positioning control, factory pre-lubrication, and a configurable online 3D CAD generator. The modules feature Rexroth's camoLINE connectivity, which facilitates precise alignment and easy connection of additional axes and external attachments. The new eLINE Compact Modules are available in both ball screw-driven (eCKK) and belt-driven (eCKR) versions, in profile sizes of 90 and 110mm, so users can specify the right drive options for their application. Smooth motion is guaranteed with two integrated eLINE Ball Rail hybrid guideways that combine the weight advantages of aluminum with the toughness of the hardened steel inserts and offer higher moment and load capacities than single-rail solutions.
