Severe Duty, Duty Master® Motors

Baldor Electric Company offers Super-E® Duty Master® motors for protection against extreme environmental conditions.  Baldor•Reliance Super-E Duty Master motors, designed for severe operating conditions, are available in TEFC and WPII (weather protected) foot mounted configurations.  Standard voltages are 2300/4000 volts, 60 HZ.  Stock motors are available in 3600, 1800 and 1200 RPM.  They are available from stock from 200 HP through 1500 HP, three phase, in NEMA 449T through 05812 frame sizes. They feature form coil vacuum pressure impregnated (VPI ) construction, high-pressure die cast aluminum rotors, all cast iron construction, NEMA Premium® Efficiency and three year warranties.   Other features include winding resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), provisions for bearing RTDs, space heaters, 1.15 service factor, cast iron conduit boxes, and field convertible from F1 to F2, and Division 2 Zone 2 operation. These TEFC motors are available with several shaft configurations.  All speeds are designed for coupled applications.  The 1800 RPM motors are designed with ball bearings that are convertible to roller bearings for belted loads.  The 1200 RPM motors have an oversized shaft with roller bearings, convertible to ball bearings.     The Super-E Duty Master motors are ideal for petro-chemical facilities,  mining, foundries, pulp and paper mills, chemical refineries, waste management facilities, power plants, for use in tropical climates, and other environments causing corrosion.
