The new eDriveT Technically Advanced Power Transmission Line from Dorner Manufacturing offers a 25 percent reduction in heat; a 30 percent reduction in weight; and a footprint that's 15 percent smaller than conventional gear motors. When added together, eDrive provides customers with energy savings, safer installations, space savings and improved worker safety for precision belt conveyors. Designed with the latest advancements in aluminum-body gear head and motor technologies, eDrive comes with a two-year gear-head warranty, and is maintenance free.
The technology behind eDrive starts inside its die-cast aluminum housings, where the four bearing 90-degree gear-head, along with low inertia rotors and fan-cooled motors run cooler, smoother and virtually eliminate leakage.    The eDrive is designed to fit all of Dorner's industrial conveyor platforms (2200, 3200, 4100, 5200, 6200 and MPB). The gear heads and motors are equipped with both NEMA and IEC Flanges; motors range from 1/4 to 2 horsepower.

When it comes to options, eDrive offers all the features of conventional conveyor drives, while delivering energy savings, safer installations, space savings and improved worker safety.
