The Magnalight MGS-48-8120-C Heavy Duty Power Distribution Substation converts 480 VAC three phase electrical current to single phase 120/208Y AC and includes a 60amp 3 phase main fused disconnect/on-off switch . This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

This model is designed for use for both linear (motor) and non-linear loads (lighting, computers, etc.).  For that reason, we deliver 120V and 208Y on the secondary and provide a nuetral.   

The MGS-48-8120-C portable power transformer substation provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 480v 3ph which it then steps down to 1ph 120/208Y VAC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120VAC available via 8- 30amp, 120 Volt, L5-30R weather proof rated receptacles protected by 8 X 30amp, 125 Volt 1 pole breakers. The 45kva transformer in this unit provides for up to 125 amps of continuous draw.
