To best serve the HMI hardware needs of cost-sensitive machine builders and manufacturers, the CP6606-0001-0020 “Economy” Panel PC, combines a full-color, 7-in. TFT touch screen display (800 x 480 WVGA), 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, and 1 GB DDR3 RAM—offering an all-in-one HMI and controller.
Designed as a cabinet-mounted device in a fanless, space-saving format, the panel PC is ideal for use in PLC and small motion control applications that require compact, low-cost HMI hardware. When paired with the TwinCAT runtime, the CP6606 becomes a flexible automation controller for small and medium-sized machines, factories or buildings.
The CP6606 can also be used as an OPC UA client or server, boosting the flexible connectivity and remote access capabilities of the device. The series also features housings constructed of aluminum at the front and sheet-steel rear covers. The bezel is slightly curved, resulting in a lower profile, and features an operating temperature range from 32 to 131°F (-13 to 149°F storage temperature range) as well as IP54 protection at the front of the panel and IP20 at the back.
All connectors are located at the back and bottom of the panel for easy accessibility. Available connections include:
