Altech switches are 22 mm heavy-duty metal operators delivered in a variety of different combinations: two-pole or three-pole, momentary or maintained. They are keyed alike or can be keyed different, and to enhance security, several types of key removal options are available. The switches are watertight and have been tested to meet NEMA Type 4X, 12, and IP65.
Altech’s switches are also UL508 and CSA-recognized. As another benefit, these switches are a direct replacement for ZB2-type key switches. The heavy-duty metal housing is the standard and easily mountable in a 22 mm mounting hole. Installation of these switches is extremely simple; the only tool needed is a screwdriver. The metal mounting bracket is vibration proof and up to six different contact configurations are available. All contact blocks are made with silver contacts for industrial applications, while gold plating is available for signal switching. Silver and gold contacts can be mixed in the same switch configuration. They are rated for up to 10A thermal current and have a mechanical life of more than 1 million operations.
