Dart's Commutrol Series of brushless DC (BLDC) drives offers a standard, off-the-shelf design with the features and capacity needed to address most BLDC drive requirements in the market today. For 25 years, these products have evolved and improved with customer feedback gained from an ever-increasing application set.
The Commutrol Series is offered in a variety of voltage, current, and packaging options to serve the OEM designers based on customer feedback from an ever-expanding range of application needs through 1 hp. Both line voltage and NEMA 4/4X enclosed models are offered along with more traditional low-voltage chassis models.
BLDC drives offer inherent benefits such as quiet operation, elimination of motor brush maintenance, and electrical commutation of the motor (closed-loop regulation; motor reversing and dynamic brake are built into the drive).
Used primarily in the medical, food, pharmaceutical, and energy equipment markets, Dart Commutrol Series drives are finding new applications in other segments as well.
