Underground Magnetics (UMag) is an innovative U.S.-based company with fresh ideas and designs backed by proven experience. We are built upon a core team of industry experts who are dedicated to designing, producing, and servicing industry-leading locating systems.

With world headquarters in Johnston, IA, UMag designs, produces, and services HDD locating systems. A new 40,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art plant currently is under construction in Iowa. The updated facility will offer expanded manufacturing and service capabilities.
