Mayr Corporation

Founded in 1897, the family-owned company Mayr Power Transmission is a leading manufacturer of safety brakes, safety clutches, and shaft couplings. These products are primarily designed for application in electrically driven machines and systems. They can be found in filling systems, machine tools, packaging and printing machines, as well as in elevators, wind turbines, and stage technology.

The company is active in over 60 industries worldwide. Around 750 employees currently work at the headquarters in Mauerstetten, and Mayr power transmission has around 1,350 employees internationally.

The company operates three further plants in Poland, China, and India. With subsidiaries in the USA, France, Great Britain, Italy, Singapore, Japan, Spain, and Switzerland, as well as around 40 additional country representatives.
