Output real-time, high-res, color video to DCSs, PLCs, and SCADA systems

LENOX INSTRUMENT CO. now offers the 6935SCE series of Internet protocol (IP) high-temperature camera systems. The 6935SCE series of Ethernet cameras allow users to output real-time, high resolution, color video images to distributed control systems (DCSs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and a real-time web server to broadcast images on the plant’s local network.

The camera systems deliver high-quality images of burner flames, material alignment and movement inside the furnace, refractory condition, and other high-temperature processes.

6935SCE series digital camera systems offer clear image quality in variable lighting conditions and are Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capable, allowing the camera to draw its power over the connected network cable and eliminating the need for a separate power supply.

Factory-installed software allows remote set up or changes to network settings.

The water-cooled, stainless steel 6935SCE series cameras, available in 24-, 31-, 36-, and 42-in. (61-, 79-, 92-, and 106.7-cm) lengths can be configured with a variety of lens options and are capable of operating in extreme environments up to 4,250°F (2,345°C). An optional, Automatic Retraction System is available that withdraws the camera in the event of power, water, or air loss, preventing possible over-temperature damage to camera and housing.

Each Lenox Furnace Camera HD System is designed, manufactured and serviced in-house and backed by a two-year warranty.
