The JIC-4377 Fiber Jacket Slit & Ring Tool has a tapered blade guide designed specifically for easier use with the OFS Minicord EZ bend and other similar cables. This tool is used to slit and ring many types of buffer tubes, breakout cables, and other jacketed fiber cables. It handles cable diameters from 1/8 to 3/8 in, and ring cut depth is adjustable for 0.018 or 0.031-in thick jacket insulation.
