OMEGA's new SA1-RTD gets an "A" for accuracy. This surface mount temperature sensor mounts on flat or curved surfaces and provides Class A accuracy for critical temperature monitoring applications. It's based on a 2 x 2 x 0.8mm thin-film platinum RTD and supplied in PFA-insulated 3-or 4-wire configurations (connectors optional). Convenience is the key with this RTD. Installation is effortless using its self-adhesive backing; or you can permanently mount it using OMEGABOND(r) cements. Available in 1m (40"), 2m(80") or 3m (120") or custom lengths. The SA1-RTD can be tailored for use in a wide variety of applications, such as monitoring chip, heat sink and environmental temperatures in electronic devices; check piping or ducting temperatures; monitor motor and transformer core heat and test insulation capabilities.
