WAGO Corporation is pleased to announce the release of a new PROFINET Bus coupler. Designated the 750-340 series, this bus-coupler is designed to be used as local or distributed I/O on a PROFINET industrial Ethernet network. "BY adding PROFINET to our list of industrial Ethernet networks supported, WAGO continues to show its’ support for and leadership in industrial Ethernet protocols," said Mark DeCramer, Product Manager for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM. "In addition to PROFINET, we also support EtherNet/IP, MODBUS/TCP, MODBUS/UDP, Ethernet TCP/IP, with Ethernet Powerlink and SERCOS III in development." The 750-340 Series is in accordance with the PROFINET RT specification V 2.01 and includes features such as, automatic configuration, 10/100 Mbs baud rate, as well as support for many common Ethernet protocols such as HTTP, BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNTP, FTP, SNMP, and SMTP for system management and diagnostics. Housed in a modular, compact (2" wide x 2.56" height x 3.94" long), DIN rail mount design, the 750-340 is capable of fitting in the smallest of spaces, as well as reduce costs associated with traditional rack based PLC I/O. Furthermore, compatibility with all 750 and 753 Series I/O modules offers access to over 200 digital, analog, and special function I/O modules and ensures connectivity to virtually all signal types.• No. of couplers connected to Master • limited by ETHERNET specification • Tansmission medium • Twisted Pair S-UTP 100 ? cat. 5 • Max. length of fieldbus segment • 100 m between hub station and 750-340; • max. length of network limited by • ETHERNET specification • Baud rate • 10/100 Mbits/s • Buscoupler connection • RJ-45 • Protocols • PROFINET RT V 2.0, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, • SNTP, FTP, SNMP
