Allegro Airline Cooling System, Low Pressure

Aug. 26, 2008

AllegroAir (LP) Airline Cooling System is a low-cost and portable means of cooling air produced by Ambient Air Pumps. It's capable of reducing the air temperature from 180 to as low as 50°F.

The inlet air is connected to the cooling system from the Ambient Air Pump through a 5 ft-long inlet supply airline connecting to the cooling system with a heavy-duty “Chicago Style” coupler. Air then travels through the PVC Temperature Cooling Coil inside the cooler reducing the air temperature using exposure to ice poured into and around the coil. The outlet air is filtered at the end of the coil line by a 5-micron particulate air filter. An adjustable Relief Valve allows the end user to adjust the airflow. Air pressure range 0 to 15 psig.

Lightweight, (only 28 lb. without ice) and featuring the rugged 70-quart MaxCold Igloo Cooler with durable wheels and a locking telescope pull handle, this compact system is ideal for jobs in the field.
It can be used with a 1, 2, or 3-worker ambient air pump.

At the end of the work shift, water can drain from the cooler by removing the drain port cap. Also, disconnecting the inlet hose from the cooler will allow any water inside the coil to drain by gravity feed out of the inlet Chicago coupler.
