Innovative Pressure Technologies (IPT) introduces IPT Double Block and Bleed Valves. IPT Double Block and Bleed Valves are rated for use with working pressures from 10,000 or 15,000 psi (690 or 1035 bar) and feature a unique Trunnion Ball Design for maximized performance and smooth, low-torque operation. They provide complete traceability of materials, and a blow-out proof stem for increased safety. They are available with clamp-hub type ends to satisfy API 17D specifications, and can be constructed to satisfy NACE MR-01-75 for corrosion protection.“In the conventional assembly of pressure instruments, both the piping and instrument departments are involved in ordering and stocking separate valves, gasket and other fittings. Assembling so many components can be expensive, particularly if joint welding is required, and produces up to 8 potential leak points, while also taking up working space and producing a large bending moment. The higher mass can also induce vibration stress failures,” says Wade Brandon, Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “Our unique approach for High Pressure Applications delivers a low-cost, out-of-the-box solution, with reduced installation costs, lower weight and height, fewer leakage points, that requires no mounting brackets and that is largely unaffected by system vibration,” he says. IPT Double Block and Bleed Valves are 100% tested to ensure quick start-up and reliable operation out of the box. They meet both instrument and piping engineers’ specifications and deliver significant savings on space, weight and cost when compared with conventional double block and bleed valves. As a result, they are well suited for use in critical applications such as primary isolation, double block and bleed, pressure instrumentation devices, chemical injection, sampling, pressure equalization and venting, among others.IPT Double Block and Bleed Valves are available in a variety of materials of construction to satisfy specific application requirements. Body and end flanges are available in stainless steel, duplex steel and super duplex. Seals feature PEEK seats for excellent resistance to chemicals, heat and wear, and Viton O-rings enable reliable operation in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 400°F (-17.8°C to 204°C). Additional materials are available for high temperature service.Working Pressure: 10,000 or 15,000 PSI (690 or 1035 bar)
