Newflex tubing from NewAge Industries provides an alternative to the bulk and weight of multi-layer rubber hoses for suction requirements. Newflex offers all-PVC construction along with flexibility and durability for a dependable product. When applications call for vacuum or suction, wrapped rubber hose is sometimes used. It can be heavy, bulky, costly, and quite stiff depending on its construction (number of layers, type of rubber material and reinforcement). Newflex addresses these concerns with its all-PVC construction. It’s reinforced with spirals that help the tubing flex without kinking, resist crushing, and withstand vacuum applications as high as 28 in./Hg. It works well in pressure applications, too. Newflex is chemical and corrosion resistant and has a smooth inner surface for maximum flow of fluids, air, or granular materials. It also allows for visual contact with the flow, which is impossible with wrapped rubber hose. Three styles – heavy, standard, and light duty – mean the user can choose the one that best fits his or her application. Industrial grade or food grade, made from non-toxic ingredients conforming to FDA and 3-A standards, may also be selected. Newflex PVC tubing is made in the U.S. and is well stocked in sizes ranging from 3/8” to 4” I.D. Custom sizes and colors are available, as well as cam operated couplings, barb-style fittings, and clamps for complete hose assemblies.
