Switches for Extreme Environments

STEUTE is pleased to announce the North American introduction of their proven family of switches designed expressly for extreme or hazardous environments. Currently offered units include limit, safety interlock, emergency pull-wire switches, foot, magnetic position, magnetic safety and belt alignment switches … and pushbutton control stations.  

Depending upon model, these can be built-to-order for the following types of environments … explosive (ATEX, IEC Ex) high temperature (to +90 °C), low temperature (to minus 40 °C), IP 69K requirements, high shock/vibration, corrosive, salt water, and submersible sealing (IP 68) requirements. Typical applications include oil and gas processing, mining, food processing, marine, off-shore platforms, bulk/powder handling, chemical processing,  and outdoor installations.
