Spring-Loaded LVDT Dimensional Gaging Probes (DGP)

May 30, 2015

A line of spring-extend AC-LVDT-based dimensional gauging probes (aka pencil probes) for QC metrology, X-Y tables, and automotive/medical/aerospace test stands are regularly used with Gage R&R and CpK data collection to ensure quality and for use with six-sigma QA programs.

With 3 ranges available from stock featuring submicron resolution and repeatability, the DGP LVDT probes are manufactured with the highest quality precision ground bearings. DGP probes come standard with an 8 mm diameter plain outer body, with an optional sleeve available to increase the OD to 0.375 in., either plain or partly threaded. The 2 m long axial shielded cable is strain relieved and can be quickly converted to a radial cable outlet with a right angle cable adapter that is included with a probe.

  • 3 measuring ranges: ±0.5, ±1, and ±2.5 mm
  • 8 mm diameter plain (unthreaded) body
  • Optional 0.375 in. threaded adapter sleeves for plain body models
  • Better than 0.5 micron resolution and repeatability
  • Adjustable probe pre-travel
  • 2 m cable with right angle exit adapter included
  • Meets EMC standards - Directive 89/336/EEC
  • Excitation Voltage: 3.5V rms
  • Excitation Frequency: 7.5 kHz
  • Max Current: 9 mA rms
  • Phase Shift: <10 deg
  • Operating Temperature: -10 to 65°C
