Update 9/2026: Steel fabricators, service centers, and machine shops handling large plates and fabricated parts now have three additional lifting options in the SafeHold APL Series of permanent lifting magnets. The APL-52, APL-70, and APL-100 extend the line's capacity to 10,000 lb (4,546 kg), supporting the handling of larger steel plates, cut parts, and fabricated components.

SafeHold Permanent Lifting Magnets are ideal for carrying semi-finished products such as machined parts, castings, press molds, steel plates, bars, tubes, and more without slings, hooks, or cables. These magnets are available in ceramic and rare-earth models, lift to 10,000 lb, need no outside power source, and can be turned on and off with ease.

Eriez offers a variety of SafeHold Lifting Magnets to satisfy customers' unique requirements. The SafeHold line includes the RPL Series, XPL Series, EPL Series, APL Series, and MPL Series.

• SafeHold RPL Series Lifting Magnets handle both round and flat materials. Five models are available with capacities up to 7,000 lb on flat materials and 1,750 lb on round materials.
• SafeHold XPL Series Lifting Magnets handle both flat and round materials. Six models are available with capacities up to 5,000 lb on flat materials and 3,700 lb on round materials.
• SafeHold EPL Series Lifting Magnets handle flat materials. Four models are available with capacities up to 10,000 lb on flat materials.
