If you work at night or in low light or dark working conditions, you know the importance of remaining visible to others or moving vehicles.

Radians recently launched its GLOW vest line to help workers stay visible even when an active light source isn’t present.

“The SV6GL and the SV22GL with contrast and photoluminescent trim are Radians’ newest additions and newest forms of all-hour, all-light situation visibility,” said Nicole Novick, high-visibility product manager for Radians.

“Just a 30-minute charge of sunlight provides eight hours of glow in low light and dark work environments," said Novick. “These vests offer a great solution for working in underground tunnels, mines, warehouses, or night construction.”

Both vests are Type R, Class 2. They have a zipper closure, two-inch split silver reflective tape, contrast, and photoluminescent trim detail, and are offered in high-visibility green or orange. They can also be customized with your company logo or safety message via the Radians in-house custom imprinting program, which is recognized for its speed and affordability.

The SV6GL surveyor GLOW vest features eight pockets, dual-mic tabs, and a large cell/radio pocket with a clear ID badge holder. It has a solid front and a mesh back. The SV22GL is the economy version of Radians’ new GLOW vests. It has two pockets and is constructed of 100% polyester mesh.
