As a germophone, I can safely say that the world is disgusting.

I avoid touching door handles, faucets, the office refrigerator handles, instead using a paper towel to shield myself from the germs lurking on those surfaces. I also wash my hands...a lot.

But even I, the enemy of germs, was surprised to learn just how filthy some things are.

The average office desk, for instance, has 400 times more bacteria than a toilet seat. And an office phone has 513 times more germs than a toilet seat.
