John Santagate is a Research Director at IDC responsible for the service robotics market. As Research Manager of manufacturing supply chain execution, John’s researched looked across supply chain business processes to provide manufacturers with guidance on key business and IT issues related to the supply chain, including research into the application of robotics across the manufacturing supply chain. Prior to joining IDC, John spent several years as a domain consultant at Tata Consultancy Services Supply Chain Center of Excellence where he worked with leading manufacturing organizations to design and implement transformational supply chain strategies.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Santagate spent time in sales and channel development in the IT and bio technology verticals where he focused on driving profitable revenue, effectively capturing the voice of the customer and channel partners, and providing market level demand insights to drive effective planning and execution.
