Who Will Train Workers for the New Digital Lab?

SME will train workers for complex advanced manufacturing jobs necessary for the new research facility.

SME, which is a national organization that supports the manufacturing industry, has stepped up to provide the necessary training for the newly created Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute.

The group was an integral part of the formation of the consortium that was able to bring the manufacturing research body to the IU  labs.

In fact Dean L. Bartles, who is a SME vice president and currently vice president  of General Dynamics, will take on the role of executive director at the Digital Lab.
