The S-Family of small, 6-axis, articulated robots have payloads of 13 up to 18 kg for arc welding and handling applications.
Featuring an IP68 hollow-wrist design, with integrated arc and gigabit dressings, the robots are perfect for a range of arc welding, handling, food & beverage, and general assembly applications, in addition to foundry, automotive, and battery manufacturing processes.
Further benefits include improved access to small spaces, protected cables to avoid damage and reduce the risk of contamination in sensitive environments, and multiple mounting positions (floor, wall, ceiling) to optimize space and increase robot density without sacrificing performance.
S-Family robots have been tested and certified for energy efficiency in accordance with Fraunhofer procedures and are available in 2 different payload configurations (13 and 18 kg) with a 1,700 mm reach and a repeatability of ± 0.03 mm.
