Lighting Upgrades Improve Productivity
Illumination directly affects a workers perception of the workplace and how they feel about it both physiologically and mentally. How a worker perceives their workplace in turn has a measurable effect on workplace performance. Many studies have demonstrated the link between illumination and the human circadian rhythm and how lighting affects our moods, alertness, and general overall feeling of well being. It is no surprise that when a worker feels fatigued or irritable productivity can drop and issues with safety arise, but what is surprising to many is how lighting can help to reduce or negate these feelings of tiredness and generally poor morale.
